Last June 10th in Municipal School of Music and Dance “Alessandro Onofri” Exams were held for the awarding of two scholarships, dedicated to those enrolled who will be able to attend lessons free of charge in the 2024-2025 school year.
At the end of a morning of listening and evaluation, the commission, made up of Gabriele Francioli, Filippo Ciccioli and Sofia Proiettithree teachers fromSpoleto Music Association which manages the School’s teaching, assessed the level and control of the technique of performing the musical programs appropriate to the age and level of the performers themselves.
The two scholarships were awarded to two guitarists: the very young and talented Tullio De Santisalmost 11 years old who, among others, performed the difficult piece by heart Albeniz, Asturias it’s at Gabriele Pompilio17 years old who, in addition to studies and scales, has performed Junto al Generalife Of Rodrigo.
Since many of the participants were winners of national and international competitions, this year the level achieved was very high for all and, even if some felt the emotion of the test more, the commission was strongly impressed by the commitment, concentration, by the attention and study that all the young students and participants in the competition demonstrated in their performances.
