In the year in which Pesaro is the capital of culture and the Rossini Symphony turns 30, two Xanitalia crossover concerts with Rossini, Karima, Chiara Galiazzo and Roberto Molinelli
PESARO – They’re back “The Xanitalia Concerts”, events in the central Piazza del Popolo in Pesaro organized by the G. Rossini Symphony Orchestra at the behest of Franco Signoretti, owner of the Xanitalia company: the aim is to give the public beautiful but also entertaining concerts, within everyone’s reach, which let you spend an evening of pleasant relaxation. For this reason, this year too, access to Piazza del Popolo, the venue of the events, will be free. In these eleven years the Pesaro public has always responded with great participation to the events and the program presented suggests that the twelfth edition will also live up to expectations: two crossover concerts, with the Rossini symphony ensemble, two stars of pop music and Roberto Molinelli, world-famous director and arranger.
So maxi events for a maxi year with soloists who could only be… maxi! The first concert, scheduled Monday 8 July at 9.15pm in Piazza del Popolo, sees the presence of Karima, artist from Livorno who took his first steps in the Olympus of music thanks to the television talent show “Amici di Maria de Filippi” and who has since embarked on a worldwide career, the only Italian singer for whom Maestro Burt Bacharach has written songs , as well as having recorded the first album “Karima” with her. The soloist will perform some songs from her own repertoire and covers of international hits.
The second concert, Monday 15 July at 9.15pm, again in Piazza del Popolo, will see on stage instead Chiara Galiazzo: this artist also began her career thanks to a talent show, X-Factor, and numerous appearances at the Sanremo Festival. Beloved by audiences of all ages, she already has four albums under her belt and highly acclaimed tours: the latest musical project featuring the artist is “Istanti”, a single released last January in collaboration with the duo I Desideri . Chiara Galiazzo will perform some of her greatest hits and covers of the great Italian pop music repertoire.
