Serious mourning for the Saltriese Philharmonic and for the entire community of Saltrio. He passed away in the night Glauco Zanonihistoric maestro of the Philharmonic who led for over thirty years.
Many messages of condolence for what he was, as the musical association writes: “A father, a husband, a friend to many, a bandmate, a man who rewrote the history of the Philharmonic with his baton”.
The mayor also paid homage to Maestro Zanoni Maurizio Zanuso with the entire municipal administration of Saltrio: “The municipal administration joins in the pain and silence of the Zanoni family for the loss of dear Glauco Zanoni, a point of reference for our community and above all of our Saltriese Philharmonic. Forever in our hearts“.
The funeral will be held Monday 24 June at 3pm in the parish church of Saltrio, and will be accompanied by the music of his beloved band. For the last farewell to his master the Philharmonic is in fact calling together the musicians of yesterday and today: “If you were also a musician who had the opportunity to play with him, no matter on what occasion or group, bring your instrument: let’s pay homage to him together with his Saltriese Philharmonic. The meeting is at 2.15pm outside the church, for the distribution of the parts.”
