Due to expected bad weather, both the evenings of Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd June of the Premio Scintille, as part of the AstiTeatro Festival, will be held at the Alfieri Theater in Asti starting from 9.30pm (free entry) and not, as expected, in the courtyards of the buildings city historians. “Each competing company – explains the Municipality – will present its 20-minute show only once, followed by a short meeting with the audience behind the curtain to allow the next company to prepare, keeping the spirit of the competition intact”.
Scintille is in fact a competition for professional theater companies under 35 promoted by Asti Teatro, Teatro Menotti of Milan and Fondazione Piemonte dal Vivo. The winning project, chosen by the public and a jury of theater operators, will receive a contribution of 8 thousand euros and the possibility of representing the finished show in the 2024/2025 theater seasons of Asti and the Menotti Theater in Milan.
