The national rugby team will refer to the ‘Fattori’ stadium and L’Aquila for the next three years
The announcement, on the sidelines of the finishing session coordinated by the coach, Gonzalo Quesada, came from the Fir president, Marzio Innocenti, accompanied by the regional councilor for Sport, Mario Quaglieri and the mayor of
capital, Pierluigi Biondi. “I am very happy that the national team is coming here to L’Aquila to prepare – declared Innocenti – obviously we always look for a location that has what we need from a climatic point of view and that is, a cool climate. Finding it in a place where rugby has an extremely important value like L’Aquila is an added value.”

The agreement includes preparation sessions, as well as ‘Summer Camps’ which will also be organized in other regional structures.
