60% of those who enter Savona do so for study or work reasons and at peak times between 9,000 and 10,000 euros enter. 50% of the cars come from internal traffic while 33% come from external municipalities or other provinces. And then Piazza Mameli which, according to the Sintagma technicians, has an unbalanced road system considering that on the east side it has four roads entering and only two leaving. Every day there are 12,000 boarding trips on TPL urban vehicles.

These are some of the data that emerged this afternoon, 20 June, from the presentation of the path that will lead to PUMS with the mayor Marco Russo, the councilor Ilaria Becco, the municipality engineer Marco Delfino and Tito Berti Nulli of Sintagma who illustrated the stages of the a path that between now and November will lead first to the completion of the Parking Plan and then to the PUMS draft.

Nulli explained the ways of involving citizens starting from an online questionnaire that will be put online shortly up to the creation in September of three discussion tables with the people of Savona dedicated to parking, public transport and soft mobility.

The next stages will therefore be the online questionnaire, the cognitive framework on 25 July, the first hypotheses of solutions for Piazza Mameli on 30 July, the participatory tables with citizens on 10-15 September and the draft plan on 10-13 November.
