Cremona is also a city that has been able to enhance its artistic and cultural heritage over time with exhibitions and major events to attract cultured tourism. Added to this is the ability to present itself as a destination for experiences linked to ‘slow tourism’, which appreciates open-air circuits and food and wine”.

River cruises, cycle paths and taste

“Thanks to its location on the banks of the Po river – he added – this area offers experiential routes along its waterways and the many cycle paths. Whoever arrives in Cremona can enjoy mini-cruises to discover landscape and culinary excellence. This form of tourism is attracting great interest, especially for foreigners, and the valorisation that is being made of it here is very positive”.

“Tourism – highlighted Gian Domenico Auricchio – represents a constantly evolving economic sector, plays a fundamental role in contributing to growth, creating jobs, increasing productivity and income, diversifying the economy. And this is also the case for Cremona.
