News between the posts for the Carcaresewhich expands the goalkeeping roster with the arrival of the youngster Mattia Grennanumber of perspective and talent.
Born in 2006, Grenna trained in the youth sector of Savona, Vado and Sampdoria. At just 15 years old, he had his first experience in the first team, with the Banners shirt in the First Category. Then, in 2022, the goalkeeper moves to Campomorone Sant’Olcese, where he made five appearances as a starter in Eccellenza. The same season also saw the call-up to the Ligurian team for the Regions Tournament which Grenna faced as a starter. In the summer of 2023 the return to I go as the starting goalkeeper for the national junior team and as Fresia’s forward in Serie D.
Now he is moving to Carcarese, where he will share the department and training with Luca Giribaldi (1988) and Umberto Ferro (1999). The latter, in fact, will also remain in red and white, after the experience of last season.

We therefore think he already has the broad shoulders to defend the posts of a team aiming for certain objectives and we are certain that for him having a goalkeeper coach like Federico Marini and important team mates like Giribaldi and Ferro can be factors of great growth. Finally, thanks to Vado for allowing us to announce his arrival in Carcare before July 1st.”
