President Daniele Rossi: “The national system is in disarray”

This morning the supporters of the new association for the protection of public health, Abaco, presented themselves in front of the Tuscany Region to present the objectives they set to the citizens. The president of Abaco Toscana, Daniele Rossi: “We want to make our consumer base association known in defense of health and public health. For now we are focusing on reducing waiting lists, a problem that affects everyone, but especially an increasingly larger segment of the population, the poorest. With our proposals we would like to reverse the direction of this national health system which is in difficulty. Let’s think about the increase in healthcare services by extending the hours of access to the public, the reopening of healthcare facilities closed in past years, the suspension of freelance activity until the waiting lists are exhausted, the adaptation of the technological park of public facilities for carrying out extraordinary tests, an extraordinary plan for hiring healthcare personnel, the temporary halt to the construction of new hospitals and the use of dedicated resources to reduce waiting lists. The national health system is in disarray, as we saw during the Covid period.
