The first step to see Paolo Vanoli on the bench of Turin it was accomplished. The coach has in fact terminated his contract with Venezia, as communicated on the club’s official website. Below is the full note:
“Venezia FC announces that it has reached an agreement for the consensual termination of Paolo Vanoli’s contract. Venezia FC affectionately thanks Paolo Vanoli, and all his staff, for the results obtained with the First Team, with which it achieved the Serie B playoffs in his first season after a fantastic comeback and obtained a promotion to Serie A in the following championship which will remain in the club’s history. Thanks to his temperament and professionalism, Vanoli was able to embody the spirit of Venezia FC. enhancing the squad and contributing decisively to the creation of the strong bond between the club and the orange-green fans. Good luck, Mister.”
During his career as a coach, Vanoli was selector of Italy Under 16, Italy Under 18 and Italy Under 19, as well as coach of Domegliara, Spartak Moscow and Venezia. He instead held the position of deputy in the Italy Under 16, Italy Under 17 and Italy Under 19 teams. He was part of the staff of the national team from 2016 to 2017, of Chelsea from 2017 to 2018 and of Inter from 2019 to 2021.
