The Regional Council has approved the resolution of the agreement between the Molise Italy Management and Development Authority for the performance of the functions of Intermediate Body for the management of most of the actions of Priority 1 of the ERDF Pr – ESF+ 2021-2027.
The agreement regulates, among other things, the scope of the delegated functions, mutual obligations and responsibilities, the supervisory mechanisms of the Managing Authority, financial resources and payment methods.
A fundamental step for the acceleration of the new community programming in favor of Molise businesses through measures aimed at
- Develop and strengthen research and innovation capabilities and the introduction of advanced technologies;
- Strengthen the sustainable growth and competitiveness of SMEs and the creation of jobs in SMEs, also thanks to productive investments;
- Develop skills for smart specialization, industrial transition and entrepreneurship.
These are actions intended to support small and medium-sized enterprises, large enterprises and micro enterprises in the digital transition, in order to develop new digital public services with a view to simplification and transparency, promote the development of skills with a view to strengthening inclusion and participation processes.
Specifically, the investments amount to 60 million euros with the aim of supporting a total of 137 companies and innovative start-ups with the consequent creation of jobs.
“This is just the first step – said governor Roberti and councilor Iorio – which will have to see the Molise Region using all its energy to meet the deadlines for the use of these funds. For this to happen, a great synergy is needed between the services involved in the European funds 21-27 and the regional programming service, all committed to achieving the common good through the great effort due to the understaffed staff which this administration has also undertaken to remedy”.
