On the night between Wednesday 19th and Thursday 20th June 2024, the Police of Vicenza intervened in Viale Milano to stop a fight between two homeless people. Once calm was restored, from subsequent checks, it was discovered that one of the two had been missing for weeks.

Quarrel between homeless people

Around midnight today, 20 June, a police car intervened in Viale Milano, where it was reported a violent argument between a man and a woman.

Arriving on site, the police managed to identify the two subjects: a man of Tunisian origin and an Italian woman, both homeless.

According to reports, the argument arose from woman’s accusations against the man for having stolen her phone. The latter, however, categorically denied what was stated. However, following an initial check, the smartphone was not found.

28 year old missing for weeks

Upon closer inspection, officers discovered that the woman, 28 year old originally from Paduait appeared to have happened removed from home in recent weeks and that the father had filed a missing person report.

Given the circumstances, once identified, the police called the woman’s father, informing him of what had happened and that his daughter was in Vicenza. Upon hearing the news, the parent confirmed that in the next few days he would withdraw the missing person report.

In the meantime, the 28-year-old was taken to the police stationfor the notification of judicial documents relating to ongoing proceedings against you.
