With Auser Ticino Olona and some students from Legnano, “Estate Gentile” is back again this year. The help initiative aimed at elderly residents in Legnano, promoted by Auser in collaboration with the Municipality of Legnano and carried out with the support of some young people from high schools. «This project aims to offer support and company to the elderly during the summer period, providing various free services – he explains Mauro Squeo president of Auser -. If we manage to re-propose this initiative every year it is only thanks to the commitment of the Auser volunteers and the collaboration of the students. Their contribution is fundamental to ensuring that older people do not feel alone and receive the support they need during the summer.”
In this context, Squeo specified that for the 2024 edition in via Menotti there are three students who “will help us between June and July while our volunteers will continue in August”. At the same time, the commitment on the front continues “Shared care” together with the RSA Sant’Erasmo of Legnano.

Added to this is the accompaniment for visits, errands or home delivery of groceries and medicines.
