Rimini, autopsy on Professor Di Marino excludes trauma

This morning in Rimini an autopsy was performed on the body of university professor Daniele Di Marino and excluded signs of trauma. The 42-year-old, originally from Rome and resident in the Como area, therefore did not die as a result of any blows received while moshing in the disco at the Beky Bay in Bellaria Igea Marina.

According to the initial conclusions of the autopsy examination, conducted by the medical examiner Arianna Giorgetti on behalf of the Rimini Prosecutor’s Office, it seems that Di Marino was struck down by a sudden illness. Although further tests on the professor’s organs are necessary to determine precisely what caused the illness, the autopsy confirmed that it was a natural death.

In light of these results, the public prosecutor authorized the return of the body to the family. Di Marino was on the Riviera with his girlfriend, who was eight months pregnant, for a short holiday. In recent days, the professor’s parents also arrived to follow the necessary bureaucratic procedures.

The family has appointed the lawyer Lorenzo Mazzeo of the Court of Rome to manage the bureaucratic issues. Furthermore, the family members appointed a consultant who participated in the autopsy to ensure maximum transparency and clarity on the causes of death.
