PESARO – At least 11 hammer blows. This is the first indication that emerged from the autopsy on the body of Giuseppe Ricci, known as Giorgio, 75, a retired carpenter. The autopsy was also performed on the body of Luisa Marconi, 70, a housewife.
Husband and wife were found dead last Monday in their apartment in Fano. In custody is their son, Luca, 49 years old, accused of double aggravated voluntary homicide. The motive would be economic, linked to debts contracted by Luca. The victims were supposed to hand over their 75 square meter house, which went up for auction last September and sold to a man from Fano. The parents had guaranteed themselves with their own house.
The medical examiners Loredana Buscemi and Marco Palpacelli carried out the autopsies at the Fano morgue.
Luisa Marconi died of asphyxiation due to strangulation: she was allegedly grabbed from behind with a cord. No signs of a struggle were found on the woman’s body, lying on the kitchen floor in a prone position.
Giorgio Ricci was killed in the bedroom of hammered: have been counted at least 11 shots. He was on his back on the bed with his head on the pillow, probably sleeping. Signs of blows would have been found on the hands and arms, the effect of a defense. The hammer was found in the manhole of the house.
Tomorrow is the hearing to validate the arrest.
