“We feel the need to make a premise: this letter does not have the slightest polemical spirit, it just wants to be a way to be listened to and to receive a courteous response. After having tried any other means of communication in order to become aware of the obscure reason why it has not yet been possible to illuminate via Martiri di Cefalonia which has been lying undisturbed for years in pitch darkness, we find ourselves forced to ask the Mayor Fiorita to provide us with an explanation in this regard. We asked managers, councilors and councilors for clarification without ever being able to understand the difficulty, at this point enormous, of giving light to a very central and populated street in the seaside district despite the testing which took place way back in 2022. Mayor, we turn to You in the hope of receiving an unequivocal answer and, above all, in the hope that we won’t have another year of rebounds and lack of answers before we see our path illuminated.”
