Padua, ‘Appertenenza Biancoscudata’ also announces: “No season tickets and no to the Eugeneo”

After the clear stance taken by Ultras Padova, who announced their desertion from the Eugeneo in open controversy with the club and the municipal administration, and the response of the biancoscudato club, which will do everything to mend the fracture, the story gets richer of another voice.

It is that of the ‘Appartenenza Biancoscudata’ group which in a long statement entitled “You have stolen 30 years from us, you will not steal our future” embrace the line of the ultras by announcing that they will not subscribe and will not follow the internal matches at the Eugeneo. This is the statement:

“Yes, it’s been 30 long years now that we’ve been playing away in a badly created stadium, which has NEVER been finished (look through the original Euganeo project) and which today is light years away from being completed and experienced by our fans.
We have never felt at home here, but always UNWELCOME GUESTS.
It sucked less when it was full in Serie A but the blunder lasted a year and a half until the unfortunate sale on the day of the Padua – Vicenza derby in 1996, the initial stage of an ordeal that to this day has no end.
The support has always been there even if – by the players’ own admission – from that distance the warmth we exude when singing for Biancoscudo is not absorbed.
WE DO NOT want to die of memories, WE DO NOT WANT OUR CHILDREN TO LIVE ONLY ON THE MEMORIES OF THEIR FATHERS.

We have committed ourselves – in these years of management of JO – to bringing concrete marketing ideas to bring the new generations closer and consolidate the historic fans;
we involved other entrepreneurs in the search for a new home for Biancoscudo; the last important example is the one proposed by us and downgraded by many regarding the great opportunity to build the Sports Center and Stadium in Montegrotto, with REAL projects, renderings, estimates and approvals of variations with the absolute availability of the Mayor of the spa municipality. We didn’t act like an indifferent fan – who we respect anyway – who talks about technique, tactics, the signing campaign and goals scored and missed.

For many reasons we have tried to build relationships with everyone: the Calcio Padova club (from the owners to the warehouse worker), politicians, journalists, entrepreneurs. technicians, investors, trying to be proactive for the good and for the FUTURE of Padua Football. Every time we climbed higher and higher, then at a certain point we found a dome, a closed sky, a rubber wall, a “this can’t be done, you haven’t brought in new members and social capital, your ideas are beautiful but for marketing, the sports center, the stadium, there’s no money, maybe we’ll talk about it in B, maybe in A.”

Meanwhile the fan dies. Killed by friendly fire from those on the streets instead of seeing Calcio Padova as a common good, an urbs picta to be launched at a national level, sees the ball as something old, deflated to be thrown away. What to do now? We have recently met on several occasions with our members and supporters and the majority’s desire to give a strong and unequivocal signal has emerged.

NO TO THE EUGANEO STADIUM, NO TO THE SEASON TICKET CAMPAIGN.
Today, without programming, the subscription has no value!
NO to attending home games! Strong and extreme choice but we are already at work with proposals to aggregate and support Padova in other ways.
YES to attendance at all away matches, at some youth sector matches and at other group activities.
YES to the Paduan spirit that needs to be reconquered.
Andreoletti and the team don’t want it.
But as lovers of Biancoscudo, we will fight everywhere and with every means to protect our Love.
The Board of Directors
