A vast fire it broke out in the afternoon at the Giambattista Vico elementary school in the neighborhood Drums Of Taranto. According to initial information, there should be no injuries and the fire started from the roof sheathing of the school complex but the dynamics are still to be clarified.
The Fire Brigade immediately intervened with two teams and two tankers who practically finished the extinguishing phase in these minutes. ARPA, the regional environmental agency, was also alerted as a huge cloud of black smoke was visible from various parts of the city.
