Acs (Advanced Composites Solutions), a company specialized in the production of carbon fiber components for various industrial sectors, invests 4 million euros to open a second factory in Tortoreto, about six kilometers from the one where the plant is located. current operational headquarters.
Over the course of twelve months, 50 new hires of operators specialized in the processing of composite materials are expected, mainly laminators and finishers, who Acs is already training with specific courses. In recent days, the signing of the agreement with Pedicone Holding Srl, which leased to Acs a historic property of approximately 14 thousand square metres, located near the intersection between the Adriatic state road and Fondovalle Salinello: it will host the new production lines serial for the company’s automotive and aerospace sectors.
The agreement provides for the commitment on the part of Pedicone Holding to adapt the plant and renovate and expand its offices, and on the part of Acs the commissioning of the new machinery, with an increase in production capacity of 400% compared to today. Also planned is the construction of a photovoltaic system for self-consumption and the sustainability objectives that the company aims to achieve.
