Water interruption “larger” than expected, controversy explodes. In a note the council group of PD at Palazzo Mosti he grooms Gesesa, the company that manages the water service in the city, for what unexpectedly happened in via Moro. «In recent days – recall the opposition councilors – a two-hour water interruption had been reported by Gesesa for today, Wednesday 19 June, in the area between via Carlo Levi and via Guido Dorso. A mostly residential area, with citizens who were warned in advance and were able to overcome the difficulties of the two-hour interruption.”

But the interruption has also widened via Aldo Moro, «a very populous area and home to numerous commercial activities including bars which found themselves without water between 9 and 11, therefore at the time of maximum user turnout and therefore forced to interrupt the service with evident economic damage . Only at 9am – the Dem councilors point out – was a warning issued regarding a fault and possible disruptions”.

«Given that the fault occurred in an area practically close to the one where the water interruption was already foreseen, it would have been appropriate for Gesesa to notify the activities in the area of possible disruptions, in order to allow them to organize themselves in time and in an appropriate manner, also by virtue of the period of exceptional heat. Prudence to be adopted in the future – concludes the PD group – in the case of planned works, to avoid that commercial activities that are already dealing with problems and difficulties are faced with the mockery of damages of this kind dictated by communication defects”.
