After another season in which the leap to Serie B was missed, and after a June which was evidently not welcomed also by virtue of the possible market movements and the arrivals already seen, The Padova fans have decided to make their voice heard by the club, taking a clear position towards it: the hard core of the Biancoscudato fans will desert the ‘Euganeo’ next seasonwhich will see coach Matteo Andreoletti’s men at the starting line of the Serie C championship.
This decision was made yesterday evening, after a meeting attended by over 500 fans. “A SOULLESS society and stadium deserve a DEHUMANIZED climate. Patience is over, dignity too, let’s save OURSELVES”, reads the conclusion of the statement.
To which the club however decided to respond:
“The club, having read the ultras’ statement, expresses profound respect for the position of those fans who have always been close to us.
The situation of the stadium has been complicated for years, even for us and we hope that as soon as possible we can return to having a structure like Padua deserves.
We want to tell our fans that this year too we will do our best to achieve those results that can bring back the warmth and closeness of the fans to the team and the club.”
