It will be a celebration of inclusion in which 120 people will participate. the route will take place in the Serre Park

The event has the national patronage of the ANCI. The Calabria stage of the Blue Staff for Autism, a national event now in its third edition, will take place over a distance of four kilometers on the paths of the Serre Regional Park on Sunday 23 June. There will be around 120 participants, the largest blue column of this edition which promises to be a party.

The route will start from Serra San Bruno, at 10:00 am and was identified by the Angsa Calabria association in collaboration with Kalabria Trekking, mainly respecting the needs of children with autism.

The blue walk which counts on the support of the CAI (Italian Alpine Club) of Catanzaro, will develop inside the wonderful Santa Maria Forest, starting from the Botanical Garden Museum of Villa Bonitas, on a dirt road with no motor traffic, immersed in nature among majestic specimens of silver fir and lush waterways. The destination of the “journey” is the Certosa and the burial place of San Bruno.

Halfway the blue column will be welcomed by the mayor of the town Alfredo Barillari, by the Park Commissioner, Alfonso Grillo and by the Forestry Carabinieri on duty in the protection area of ​​the park for an exchange of symbolic gifts. Also present were the Serra S. Bruno Fire Brigade, the Civil Protection volunteers and the Mamma Margherita” Odv association.

The organization is managed by the families belonging to Angsa of Vibo Valentia.

Parents thus want to create a day of socializing immersed in nature for their children with autism spectrum disorders.

The Villa Bonitas location will act as a point of reference for all the needs of autistic children and families, as it is equipped with all services. At the end of the route the “120 in blue” will meet at the “Il Ritrovo” restaurant to eat the fixed menu meal. Blue Relay 2024 at national level involved 14 regions and 2000 people.

It started on June 2nd in Tuscany, on the 9th it was the turn of Sicily, Piedmont, Lazio, Basilicata and Marche.

On the 16th Emilia Romagna, Umbria, Liguria and Molise walked. On the 23rd it was Puglia’s turn, Calabria and Veneto.

The last stage is scheduled for Monday 24 June in Val D’Aosta
