A man ended up in prison for alleged mistreatment of family members and cohabitants, aggravated injuries and attempted non-consensual pregnancy termination.
Yesterday morning, agents of the flying squad of the Teramo Police Headquarters executed the precautionary custody order in prison issued by the investigating judge at the Court of Teramo, as part of an investigation carried out by the flying squad and coordinated by the local Public Prosecutor’s Office .
According to the accusation, the man, resident in Teramo, is held responsible for having carried out continuous physical and psychological harassment towards his wife and 5-year-old daughter.
In particular, the man allegedly hit family members with slaps and punches, threatening his wife with death and isolating her from social life.
On one occasion, then, he would have forcefully grabbed his daughter, in a fit of anger, and would have slammed her against the wall.
Furthermore, on another occasion, which occurred a few days ago, he allegedly hit his pregnant wife with slaps on the face and with two strong punches on the stomach, causing her to fall to the ground, causing injuries judged to be healable in 15 days.
The man, after being tracked down by personnel from the Teramo flying squad, was taken to the Castrogno prison.
