19/06/2024 – New trip for the pensioners of the CNA Pesaro and Urbino who this time have chosen Puglia. The large group (150 former artisans) stayed for a week at the Villagio Blu Serena in Marina di Ginosa in the province of Taranto on the occasion of the National CNA Pensioners Day.

The Pesaro group (led by the president of CNA Pensionati delle Marche, Giancarlo Sperindio), made several excursions to Puglia with a stop in Basilicata.

Among the locations visited Polignano a mare with its cliffs overlooking the sea, the countless sea caves, the Scoglio dell’Eremita (habitat of the Corsican seagull), the historic center and the famous statue dedicated to Domenico Modugno.

Another stop ad Ostuni better cKnown as “the White City”, a splendid village that stands on three hills in the land of Salento. Located right on the south-eastern slopes of the Murgia, Ostuni is famous for its historic center characterized by white lime buildings and houses.

In the pensioners’ stay, an excursion to could not be missed Matera, the famous city of the Sassi, a UNESCO heritage site.

As part of the Pensioners’ Day, a conference was held entitled “Living long and living well”, hosted by Michele Mirabella. The national president of the CNA also spoke, Dario Costantini which underlined the value of pensioners understood as a resource of society and custodians of knowledge and knowledge to be transmitted to the new generations. Also present at the event were the national president of CNA Pensionati, Giovanni Giungi and the national secretary of CNA Pensioners, Mario Pagani.
