He had 50 grams of hashish (and 800 euros) in his pocket, but he hid a kilo of it at home: 23-year-old foreigner in prison

The Carabinieri of the Parma Oltretorrente station arrested a 23-year-old foreigner for possession of narcotic substances for the purpose of dealing.

A Carabinieri patrol from Parma Oltretorrente enters the Parco Ducale and near the “Eucherio Sanvitale” building notices a boy who walks away at the sight of the service car. Stopped for a check he was immediately found in possession of 50 grams of hashish. The activity continues with a house search during which 10 “blocks” of hashish were found for a total weight of 1 kg. The 23-year-old was arrested.

The soldiers, having reached the green area of ​​the Palazzetto Eucherio Sanvitale, noticed a small group of boys intent on conversing with each other and who were not paying particular attention to their surroundings, including the Carabinieri patrol. However, not everyone was so distracted, in fact one of the group, who was constantly looking around, immediately noticed the interest aroused in the soldiers, including their desire to carry out an inspection and therefore immediately left and walked away with his head down. towards the green area, in the direction of the shrubs, hoping to go unnoticed. As often happens, however, when you try not to attract attention, you get the opposite effect.

And so it was, that movement attracted the attention of the soldiers who, without wasting time, got out of the car and reached the 23-year-old who, once stopped, showed a state of anxiety typical of someone who has something to hide. Upon specific request, justified not only by the state of agitation but also by the strong typical smell of hashish coming from his trouser pocket, the young man gave the soldiers “half a block” of hashish, weighing 50 grams, wrapped in transparent film. Inside the wallet, the sum of 800 euros in cash was also found. On the basis of what they found, with particular reference to the cash, the Carabinieri believed that further narcotic substances could be held in his home, so the house search was started.

Inside the room occupied by the boy, 10 “blocks” of hashish were found, weighing 100 grams each, wrapped with packing tape and divided into two parcels each containing 5 “blocks” for a total of one kg. amazing. In addition to the narcotic, a precision scale and some knives impregnated with a hashish-type substance were found, evidence of drug dealing.

The investigation activity conducted by the Carabinieri will now be aimed at identifying the supply channels of the narcotic and the people who had material access to it in addition to today’s suspect.

The narcotic and the material found were subjected to seizure.

At the end of the activity, the 23-year-old was declared under arrest for the crime of illegal possession of a narcotic substance for the purpose of dealing and, following instructions from the Public Prosecutor on duty, he was detained in the security rooms of the Parma Oltretorrente Station Command in waiting for the validation hearing with a “very direct” procedure.

After validating the arrest, the judge ordered the precautionary measure of prison against the 23-year-old pending the celebration of the trial.
