Crime Pierina, Garofano at the scene of the murder. “Let’s retrace Manuela’s movements”

Rimini, 19 June 2024 – After the interrogations by the Prosecutor’s Office and the defense questions of Louis Dassilvawhich required the evidentiary incident, the long eve of the unrepeatable investigations on traces of DNA found by investigators at the crime scene and not only does it become eventful also for what it is pool by Manuela Bianchi, Pierina’s daughter-in-law.

This morning at around 11.30, in via del Ciclamino 31 the two Bianchi consultants introduced themselves: the general and former head of the Parma RIS Luciano Garofano and the criminalist Davide Barzan.

The two, arrived where Pierina was killed coming from the place where the 78-year-old had been with her Congregation on the evening of her death. “I wanted to retrace Pierina’s journey – explained Garofano – to have a full understanding of the places of this story”.

Here because the consultants then headed to the basement in via del Ciclamino, where Pierina was killed on the evening of 3 October with 29 stab wounds.

“Before the analyzes that will be carried out on the finds – continued Garofano – I must have a clear picture of how Pierina was found. Here because today we will observe what is still observable to also understand where the traces that will be analyzed were located after the crime”.

General Garofano and Barzan have in fact defined today’s inspection as a move within the framework of “defensive investigations” because: “Manuela is the injured party in this murder and it is right to protect her in view of the analyzes that could also reveal traces attributable to her since she intervened at the crime scene (Manuela was the first to find Pierina’s body, ed.). This is why it is important for us to give an interpretation to those possible traces to place them outside of the murder”, concluded General Garofano, who in the basement of Via del Ciclamino together with Barzan was also joined by his client, Manuela Bianchi .
