Fontana: “Exceptional news”

Even the governor of Lombardy, Attilio Fontanacelebrated the result as a victory for the region:

“A Exceptional news for Lombardy and for the Lombards who, seven years ago, with a referendum, had clearly and clearly expressed their desire to go in that direction. With autonomy we will have more skills in different subjects and we will be able to confirm our administrative capacity, making our region even stronger. I thank all those who believed in this project and in particular Minister Calderoli who gave a decisive impulse to reach this goal. With autonomy, Lombardy will be free to run even faster!”.

Hundred: “Historic result”

Pavia also spoke on the topic with a note Gian Marco Centinaio (Lega), vice president of the Senate:

“The approval of the law on autonomy is a historic result, which we have been pursuing since the birth of our party. It is proof that the League is strong, it is an important component of this government and, above all, it has not forgotten its origins. For all this, we must thank our voters and activists, the administrators, the regional presidents, who give us strength with their support and work in the area. We thank Matteo Salvini, who tenaciously led us to this goal. And we thank Umberto Bossi and Roberto Maroni, who believed in us from the beginning and ensured that autonomy became a central theme in Italian politics, which everyone had to deal with. Now we start again, with the agreements to be signed between the government and the Regions and the LEPs to be defined to improve services throughout the country. Now we can.”
