Reggio Calabria, final day of the legality courses

The appointments concluded yesterday, Tuesday 18 June “Paths of legality” promoted by Antonino Scopelliti Foundation and intended for minors under the protection of the Juvenile Court of Reggio Calabria. The final meeting took place at the Foundation’s premises, in Via Fata Morgana, and saw the participation of the comedian from Reggio Pasquale Caprì and the radio host Welcome Marra, who discussed current issues related to the city of Reggio Calabria with the children. In particular, following the previous event “Aware on the web”, particular importance was given to the conscious use of social media and the correct search for sources, in order to focus the attention of minors on the risks due to indiscriminate use of net.

The meetings promoted by the Foundation were also attended by Scout Fata Morgana area, who contributed to creating a welcoming and inclusive climate by actively collaborating with the foundation’s staff. President Rosanna Scopelliti always a firm supporter of these paths, on this occasion she underlined “we are always close to the kids in a testing way, trying to provide them with more awareness, supporting them in the search for a better future that must be built day by day, with commitment and with the small satisfactions that living legally provides every day ” and adds, “I thank all those authoritative voices who have been alongside us this year, giving us and our kids their experience”.

As per the memorandum of understanding signed with the Juvenile Court and with the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Juvenile Court of Reggio Calabria, the Foundation has committed itself, this year too, to creating a series of meetings dedicated to minors under of testing, thanks to which the children were able to deal with different territorial realities that work for the diffusion of the principles of legality.
