Telephone fault, Tim: «Everything resolved by Thursday»

This is what Tim explains in a note, in which the company explains that «repair work is underway on the cable damaged by bad weather at the Bergamo Campagnola power station». This is a “complex intervention”, specifies Tim, and which also made changes to traffic necessary to allow the works: “In particular, on Via San Bernardino the alternate one-way system regulated by traffic controllers was established in order to be able to work safely – continue from the company -. This was necessary to open 3 small rooms in the same street and start replace approximately 160 meters of cable», which serves the Bergamo Campagnola power station. As of today, Tim “estimates that the service will be restored for a large part of customers”, while “the complete resolution of the fault is expected for tomorrow”. The fault had also caused inconvenience for Uniacque, whose landline was unreachable: «As regards Uniacque – specifies Tim – the transfer service of incoming calls to the numbers indicated by the customer has been activated». In fact, Uniacque also guarantees these days the functionality of the toll-free number for reporting faults and emergencies (contactable on 800.123.955), while «while waiting for the resolution of the fault by Tim, Uniacque reminds users that it is always possible to contact the manager via email to the addresses [email protected] And [email protected]». Around 2,500 users were affected by the problem, which began to appear on Friday.
