The declared intent is to “give the public beautiful, but also fun concerts, within everyone’s reach, which will make for a pleasantly relaxing evening”. Excellent national-popular intent, but how do you do it? They take Franco Signoretti, an emerging patron in the city, the Rossini Symphony Orchestra which is turning thirty, with its president and superintendent Saul Salucci, and the Beauty Department of the Municipality imbued with Capital of Culture 2024 in the guise of Daniele Vimini, and the twelfth season of “I Concerti di “Two maxi events for a maxi year with soloists who couldn’t be… maxi, just as the winter season of the Rossini Symphony was maxi. With the Rossini symphony ensemble there will be “two stars of pop music and Roberto Molinelli, director and world-renowned arranger. On Monday 8 July it will be the turn of Karima, from Livorno, who emerged from the forge of the Friends of De Filippi, on her way to a worldwide career with Burt Bacharach who writes for her, the only Italian artist, and who will offer us songs from her repertoire but also covers of world hits . We will take a breather for a week and on Monday 15th it will be Chiara Galiazzo’s turn, who however reaches the heights of success via X-Factor and the Sanremo Festival, with four very successful albums and tours behind her. She too will offer her greatest hits surrounded by covers of the great Italian pop music repertoire. Enthusiasts will have already understood that we are in the field of “crossover”, that fusion between elements that would seem incompatible and which instead, in good hands, can create enjoyment and beauty: the symphonic music of the orchestra and pop. In his thanks Salucci obviously mentioned Franco Signoretti, a solid base that allows you to build, the Department of Beauty and Culture, the Marche Region and also the Ministry of Culture. Thanks also to the collaboration ensured in the realization of the project by the Friends of the Rossini Symphony Orchestra, represented by its president Pamela Salvucci. If the previous eleven editions met with full public approval, there is no doubt that the same will be the case for the twelfth. Symphonic and pop together: we have known for some time that the story of the two cultures was a fairy tale.
