TURIN – The National Finals for Clubs in the Football Sector of Italian Sports and Social Associations (Asi), a sports promotion body recognized by CONI and a national social promotion association. The event – organized by the Asi National Football Sector, chaired by Nicola Scaringitogether with the Asi Piedmont Regional Committee, chaired by Sante Zazawith the patronage and support of Piemonte regionsports councillor Fabrizio Ricca, City of Turin And Municipality of Pianezza – brought the best of Italian amateur football to the Piedmontese capital.
THE WINNERS
The three days of competition awarded the national titles after an intense event in the name of fairplay and healthy sporting fun. For women’s five-a-side football, she takes home the trophy Spartak Saint Nicholas (Caserta) who beat the girls from 4-0 in the final Borgonuovo (Turin) bringing the national titles won to 4, a record up until now. On the men’s 5-a-side football front, the cup goes to Bakery Allow (Brindisi) won 7-6 in the final against Blackburn (Pescara).
In 7-a-side football the victory went toIgnorantis which won the all-Piedmontese derby on Cortassaby 4-1. The title for 11 over 35s football went toAmateurs Villa Volturno (Caserta) who beat 2-1 Real Talents (Rome). In open 11-a-side football he takes home the cup CSRC Heart 1990 (Novara) won 3-0 over Air conditioning (Taranto).
THE AWARDS
After hearing, as always, the moment of the awards ceremony – at the Lascaris Sports Center in Pianezza – directed by the national manager of the Asi Football Sector, Nicola Scaringi, who thanked those present for the excellent participation in this year’s National Finals, the twenty-eighth in the history of the organisation. Thanks to those present was also expressed by the regional president of Asi Piemonte, Sante Zazaby the national president of ASI, Claudio Barbaroand by the general secretary Achilles Seven. Also present Tino Scopelliti, Giuseppe Agliano, Giacomo Labarbuta, Alessia Pennesi, Umberto Candela And Silvia Fiore. Active in organizing the event, from the national headquarters, Matilde Ballonimember of the general secretariat, Simone Levantitechnical director of the Third Sector ASI, ed Enzo Esposito, regional president of Asi Friuli Venezia Giulia. Those present and all the winners also greeted the mayors Carlo Vietti (Druento) e Antonio Castello(Flatness).
Traditionally, the referees – directed by the national technical body – were also rewarded Americo Scatena – who stood out in a particular way. The «Fulvio Pieroni Award», to the best referee in Italy in the sports season just ended, went to the match director Mario Giovanni Tozzi of the Rome section. The «Lorenzo Cesari Award», to the best referee of the event voted by the participating sports clubs, was instead awarded to Massimo Marchesi of the Trieste section.
Heartfelt thanks were offered to all the technical staff of the National Football Sector – made up of Carmine Brignola, Alex Lunardi And Gianrolando Scaringi – who collaborated in close contact with sports clubs and referee groups.
THE FUTURE
«The ones just concluded in Piedmont were special finals not only for the contemporary celebrations for the thirtieth anniversary of ASI – he commented Nicola Scaringi, responsible for the Asi National Football Sector – but also for the great participation and the beautiful sporting moments that they were able to give us. We return home with the certainty of having created, once again, one of the most important amateur football events at a national level, certainly the first for its territorial branching capacity and the huge number of teams and athletes already participating at provincial levels and regional. We can’t wait to start the new season to meet up with the 2025 National Finals in a year.”
