(UNWEB) Sviluppumbria doubles down on Terni, opening a new office in the center and at the same time continuing to lead the Bic business incubator located in Sabbione.
Thanks to the support carried out with conviction by the Umbria Region, the Society for Economic Development will continue to bear the entire management costs of the incubator, without participation in the costs by the Municipality and Province of Terni. The services offered by Sviluppumbria have never failed and are now being strengthened in order to be closer to the territory, to be able to provide all the orientation and assistance supports, also for the provision of incentives to companies, families and local authorities , with continuity and professionalism, in line with what has been done in recent years.
As well as the management of the incubator which until 31 December (extendable for another six months) is guaranteed, thanks to an agreement proposed by Sviluppumbria to the municipal administration, with the continuation of the incubation activities and support services essential both for the local businesses and for the Terni community. As mentioned, the regional company also remains responsible for the ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of the property, owned by the municipality, and the contracts for the utilities.
In the incubator area there are real estate structures owned by the Province and the Municipality of Terni, as well as other real estate units of Invitalia Partecipazioni, which has put its part up for sale. The agreement specifically reports the nature and type of services provided, necessary for the incubated businesses and for the safe maintenance of the property, including a cost-income analysis that demonstrates the economic balance of the project. An agreement that provides for a possible extension under the same conditions for a further six months, provided that economic balance is guaranteed and subject to authorization from the Province of Terni.
Among the activities carried out by Sviluppumbria for the development of the territory, there is support for the preparation and implementation of investment projects consistent with the intervention policies defined by the Region regarding tourism promotion (participation of operators in national fairs and international) and valorisation of real estate assets, as well as the organization and participation in major regional events (such as UmbriaLibri).
In assistance to the Umbria Region, in 2023 Sviluppumbria’s activity has been consolidated to promote equal access to and completion of inclusive and quality education and training, in particular for disadvantaged groups. The company, in particular, deals with the activity of assistance and management of contributions to Umbrian families (scholarships, support for sport, etc.). An activity that revolves around the cornerstone: support for benefits and projects assistance to support local businesses. This is the main activity of the Company, with 52 projects, 33 of which concerned the design and development of facilitation tools, the definition, in implementation of regional policies, of tenders and operational programs aimed at granting concessions. Another 7 projects, targeting businesses, involved orientation, information, support and assistance activities for businesses as well as entrepreneurial discovery.
With the Agreement just signed, Sviluppumbria thus confirms its commitment to supporting businesses in the Terni area, ensuring efficient management oriented towards growth and innovation. The synergy with local and regional institutions represents a key element for the success of initiatives to support the economic development of Terni, at 360 degrees.
