“Concreteness and closeness to citizens”. These are the watchwords with which the mayor of Vaiano, Francesca Vivarelli, has already started working with her team of councillors. Today the official presentation of the council with the delegations.
Vivarelli will personally deal with civil protection, protection and safety of the territory, urban planning and construction, ecological transition, budget and taxes, participation.
Deputy mayor Davide Puccianti is entrusted with public works, mobility, traffic and road safety, local public transport, culture and peace, personnel and organizational structure. Councilor Chiara Martini is responsible for public education and educational services for children, promotion of the territory and sociability, technological innovation and equal opportunities; councilor Enzo Polidori will be involved in the areas of heritage, maintenance and care of the territory, sports policies, commercial and productive activities; Councilor Massimo Resti will deal with Health and Social Policies.

Davide Puccianti, graduated in Law, is an official of the Tuscany Region. He deals with the management of the local public transport service contract for the Prato, Pisa and Livorno basins, and is a member of the regional inspection team for rail and road transport. In Vaiano he was a municipal councilor from 1999 to 2009 and councilor for mobility from 2017 to 2019.
Chiara Martini, graduated in History of Contemporary Art. Specialized in TFA she supports she is a teacher at high schools. She worked for a long time in the role of museum educator at Palazzo Strozzi and as contact person for teaching and educational projects at the MuMat in Vernio. She does volunteer work as a rescuer.
Enzo Polidori, a craftsman entrepreneur, has been the owner of a company that operates in the electrical system sector for over thirty years. He has been a home automation trainer and consultant for insurance agencies. He has been involved in the voluntary sector and associations for some time.
Massimo Resti, pediatrician and gastroenterologist, is director of the Interdisciplinary Specialist Department of the Meyer Hospital. Until 2015 he headed Medical Pediatrics and previously was director of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. In the 1980s he was the first pediatrician to serve the children of Vaiano.
