122 RIDERS READY TO CHALLENGE THEMSELVES AT THE 22nd AGRO ERICINO SLALOM
Valderice, 14 June 2024 – Everything is ready for the “22nd Agro Ericino Slalom”, fourth stage of the Italian Slalom Championship and race valid for the Sicilian Championship with a coefficient of 1.5, organized by Promoter Kinisia with the patronage of the Aci Sport Federation, of the Free Municipal Consortium of Trapani, of the Municipalities of Erice and Valderice.
The event will take place on Sunday 16 June along the Monte Erice time trial route.
Registrations closed on Wednesday 12 June with a total of 122 pilots ready to compete. The sporting and technical checks will take place on Saturday 15 June in the pedestrian area of Lido Valderice, followed by the briefing with the pilots at the Lido Valderice Camping.
The Slalom course, 4 km long, will put the competitors to the test with eleven slowdown barriers.
Among the other well represented teams we find RO Racing, Scuderia Armanno Corse, Scuderia Trapani Corse, Drepanum Corse Scuderia Venanzio, Catania Corse, Misilmeri Racing, the Piloti Per Passione team, Puntese Corse, Giarre Corse, Nebrodi Racing, Nebrosport , Tramonti Corse, Scuderia Vesuvio, Scuderia Aspromonte, Team del Mago, Santopadre Racing Team.
The show is guaranteed with a wide mix of cars, from E2 prototypes to Silhouettes, through twin-cylinder cars to production cars.
The Valderice-Erice provincial road, part of the race route, up to the Martogna crossroads will be closed to traffic from 7.30am to 3.30pm. Furthermore, from 12:00 to 15:30, circulation and parking will be prohibited on Viale Porta Spada, used as a “Park Fermé” for racing cars. These measures will allow the race to run smoothly, ensuring everyone’s safety.
All that remains is to wait for the roar of the engines on Sunday morning, when at 10:00 the race director will officially start the 22nd Agro Ericino Slalom.
