The firefighters of the Barletta provincial command are still working to quell the fire which broke out in a building this afternoon. apartment in Via delle Querce. The flames broke out inside a house located on the seventh floor of an apartment building they quickly spread from some furnishings on the veranda to the rest of the house. It was one of the occupants of the apartment who noticed the fire and raised the alarm, who managed to save himself.
The entire building was evacuated
The intense smoke and flames released by the fire made it necessary to completely evacuate the building, with the timely intervention of the police who made all the residents safe. Three teams of firefighters from the provincial Bat command intervened on site and worked tenaciously to put out the flames and contain the fire. The extinguishing operations were made particularly complex by the need to dismantle the building’s roof in order to contain the fire that was developing inside.
