A quarrel, which escalated into violence, between husband and wife, broke out at home and was quelled by the intervention of the Carabinieri who seized a knife with a 12 centimeter blade. The facts date back to 8 June 2023, when the man, «during an argument in the marital home, threatened his wife with unjust harm using a knife, first saying that he would puncture the wheels of their car, then forcing his wife not to leave the house, grabbing her and throwing her on the cot”. And when the woman tried in vain to disarm him, the man threatened her by pointing at her the knife and causing wounds on her side and neck” that can be healed in 20 days.

The woman also ended up in the dock because, during the same argument, “she pushed her husband onto the front door of the house and removed the handle to prevent him from leaving, she punched the man in the face and then held a knife and began to poke him on the right side of his body.” And not only that: “after having recovered a slat from her bed, she used it to beat her husband on the head, then her man tried to disarm her, but she received kicks in her face”, she wrote.

“Different” stories, according to the investigators, but which highlighted “the aggressiveness of the protagonists”. With the acquittal sentence, the judge declared “the cessation of the personal precautionary measures to which the accused is subjected”. The knife was confiscated, while the reasons will be disclosed in 15 days.
