The executive project for theelimination of architectural barriers inside the headquarters of Municipality of Caserta in Piazza Vanvitelli. The intervention was carried out with 243 thousand euros of Pr – Fesr Campania funds. Now the tender notice will be prepared and, subsequently, the works will be awarded. The construction site will therefore begin by the end of September.

A series of interventions are planned such as the installation of access ramps, the adaptation of the elevators to the most recent safety and accessibility standards, and the modification of the toilets, to make them fully usable by people with disabilities. Still on the subject of removing architectural barriers, the work for the resurfacing of the pavements in Piazza Matteotti is almost completed.

Now we will have the opportunity to proceed quickly with the implementation of these interventions, which will significantly facilitate the accessibility of disabled people to the Municipal House”. «We are working with the Administration – added the Disability manager of the Municipality of Caserta, Antonio Crocco – to make all public spaces accessible, fully promoting social inclusion and equality, the objective is to make the city always more inclusive.”
