Concerts, cultural meetings, guided tours and a party with Irish music and dancing. There are eight evening events that bring artists and writers to the Sanctuary square and are part of the Savona Summer 2024 programme.
The cycle of events that is about to begin brings the best of the festivals in circulation to the square in front of the Duomo, from Voxonus to the Mandolin Festival up to the initiatives of a lively reality like that of Raindogs, but there will also be guided visits to the Sanctuary Museum (which every day of the concerts it will be open from 5pm to 9pm) and dancing in the square.
“Like last year’s, the 2024 program – explains the Councilor for Culture, Nicoletta Negro – is a transversal proposal, born thanks to the collaboration between the artistic realities and associations of our territory who collaborate with each other in the drafting of a program that over the years grows more and more from the point of view of the artistic proposal. This summer the Sanctuary will become a real crossroads of national festivals”.
Councilor Negro recalls that all this “arises from the Pact that the Municipality, Diocese and Social Works signed at the beginning of the mandate with the aim of relaunching the identity of a place which by vocation can focus on religious, cultural and naturalistic tourism”.
