Exams

The two students admitted on merit have maintained a high average (at least 8) in the first four years of school and are therefore eligible for the exam. One of these is Matilde Cola from Fabrica di Roma, scientific high school, applied sciences address at Colansanti in Civita Castellana. «The desire to study Physics – she comments – and the desire to undertake teaching are two of my goals that have been a stimulus. The constant support of the professors encouraged me to take this test which I face with great serenity and perhaps a hint of recklessness. I like challenges and I’m not afraid.” For Lorenzo Marzeddu, a student at the Buratti high school in Viterbo, linguistics major, «the anxiety is there and it is part of the journey to get to this appointment. There is also the happiness of being at the end of a very formative period of study. I try to stay calm and confident as I am close to an important milestone in my life.”

Chiara Vincenzi from Ronciglione, student of the Vetralla sports high school: «It was a complicated but light-hearted period together. Complicated due to the amount of study, light because I opened the books with the awareness that I would then achieve my freedom.” She is also anxious about Gaia Capozucchi of the scientific Colasanti of Civita Castellana: «There is a little because the final exams are an important goal for the rest of one’s life. There is some concern about the tracks. I prepared very carefully and I aim to get a good grade for personal satisfaction.”

For Claudio Collettini from Viterbo, Vetralla Sports High School, «the desire to pass this exam is great. I want to crown a long academic journey: I am ready to face the exam, to demonstrate that young people are important in society and have enterprising ideas.” Thus Fabrizio Mei, Buratti Linguistic High School in Viterbo: «I am quite optimistic, I believe I have received good preparation and that I can face the matter with serenity. Among my peers, a climate of generalized and decidedly exaggerated anxiety reigns. Certainly the exam constitutes an important stage in everyone’s life and for this very reason I hope that everyone can face it not at the mercy of anxiety and excessive stress, but with the necessary serenity and firm self-confidence.” Finally Valeria Salvi, Cardarelli Tarquinia Classical High School: «How am I preparing? To quote: with ‘crazy and desperate’ macro study sessions. In the last few days I have allowed myself just a few hours of freedom on Saturday. If I have to be honest, it’s the thought of the oral exam that keeps me awake.”
