Enchanting setting, such as the Torre dei Gualtieri, in the historic center of San Benedetto del Tronto, today from 7.30 pm, for the last stage of the cycle of events of the regional call ‘From the Vine to the Table’ ‘UnMarediMarche’ to discover the wines and the beers of the Marche from the Coast to the Villages. A free visit is available, by reservation at the Torrione, in collaboration with Amici del Paese Alto. At 8.15pm the saxophonist Sheyli Sax will delight those present with a performance at sunset. Barbara Zambuchini responsible for the project: “Our primary desire was to combine the fresh products of our Adriatic Sea with the typical products of the Marche, a journey through the high quality flavors and the beauty of the territory to get to know the food and wine excellences up close, served and told by historians, chefs, sommeliers, and producers: from the Docg, Doc and Igt wines of the Marche to craft beers, combined in a typical Marche menu tasting”. At 8.30 pm the group will move to ‘il Torrione Old Times Pub’, for a tasting based on fresh local fish, combined with craft beers from the companies ‘Birrificio Mc77’, ‘Birrificio Babylon’ and ‘Birrificio Mukkeller’ which will be presented by Sommelier Luca Di Saverio Ubt (Unionbirrai beer taster) who will accompany regional gastronomic excellences, in the name of tradition and quality. Last night it was always an old mess, the one in Grottammare Alta, at sunset, which was the setting for the music of the violinist and composer from the Marche Valentino Alessandrini, concluded with a tasting entitled ‘Navigando a vista’.
