The book reconstructs the history of the movement of LGBT+ believers in Italy from the seventies to the year 2000, the year of the great Jubilee and World Pride celebrated in Rome. Based on unpublished archive sources, on interviews with the various protagonists and on internal documentation of the groups, the book highlights the main debates and the contribution that the Italian experiences of aggregation for LGBT+ believers have made in the Protestant and Catholic Churches. The analysis of the internal dynamics of those groups is profoundly connected to the evolution of the movements for the claim of the rights of LGTB+ people and to the transformations that have affected Italian Christianity in the last half century.“The meeting with Matteo Mennini – they explain from Epass – born within the ‘Restitutio’ project, a listening, training and information desk, support and support on issues related to the LGBTQIA+ world, a free service open to all activated at the Epass headquarters in Piazza Carlo Alberto Dalla Chiesa.
