There are 2500 students from Molise who from tomorrow morning, Wednesday 19 June, will face the tests for the Maturity exam. Starting from 8.30, the students will meet on the desks for the first test, the Italian test which is the same for all Italian high schools and which is already making all the graduates excited.
Precisely on the occasion of the plenary exam meeting, the director of the Regional School Office Maria Chimisso, in her first maturity as a director regional school sector, sent a video message to all high school graduates: “It is an important moment, which is also valid as rite of passage, it has all the characteristics of a public, important act, which transforms them into citizens. They are ready to enter the adult world. This year there are some new features: the electronic portfolio and the introduction of a principle, even before a content, which is that of the Masterpiece. It is important that everyone feels united masterpiece of uniqueness”. Then, also a quote with the model of Cosimo, protagonist of The Baron in the Trees by Italo Calvino. “Be alone with yourselves, overcome your anxieties, you will be protagonists of your future,” he concluded, addressing the graduates directly.
In the province of Campobasso there are 1816 candidates, while 652 are those in the province of Isernia, 32 in total those external, divided into 13 in the largest province and 19 in the second province of Molise.
Of these, the majority attended high school, specifically 50 percent, while 36 percent chose a technical school and finally the remaining 14 percent a professional institute. A total of 75 commissions were engaged in the region for the high school diploma with 75 classes: 117 classes in the province of Campobasso, with 56 commissions, 39 in that of Isernia with 19 commissions.
Then there will be the second test on Thursday 20th, different for each course of study because it concerns the disciplines characterizing the individual study paths. Then the oral with the interview which also concerns the transversal teaching of civic education: it is an interview with a pluri and interdisciplinary approach, the commission will evaluate the candidate’s ability to grasp the connections between the knowledge acquired on the educational, cultural and professional profile of the student . The student will also be able to present the experience of the path for transversal skills and orientation carried out during the years of study through a multimedia work.
Throughout Italy there will be 526,317 students, of which 512,530 internal and 13,787 external, while the commissions are 14,072 for a total of 28,038 classes. The majority of Italian students have chosen to attend high school, in fact there are 266,057 candidates, while 172,594 will complete their high school diploma in technical institutes and 87,756 in professional institutes.
