The judicial investigation into the supply to the Romagna Local Health Authority of over four million non-compliant masks from China for an amount of 3.5 million euros at the beginning of 2020, when the Covid pandemic broke out, currently in front of the judge of the preliminary hearing of the court of Forlì Ilaria Rosati. After the exit of the main defendant, the former Northern League parliamentarian Gianluca Pini who agreed to a two-year prison sentence and the confiscation of assets worth 800,000 euros, yesterday the positions of two other defendants were removed, yes it deals with Gianluca Fiore, a haulier from Forlì defended by the lawyer Marco Martines, accused of fraud and self-laundering (but there is also the fire of a truck on the Ravenna coast), and his colleague from Cesena Bruno Ciuccoli defended by the lawyer Anna Salvatore. The Gup accepted the objection of territorial jurisdiction presented by the defenders and sent the file concerning them to Ravenna.
However, the similar request of the defenders of Marcello Minenna, former director of the Customs and Monopolies Agency, councilor for Economy and Finance of the Calabria Region, defended by the lawyers Gianluca Tognozzi and Roberto D’Atri, who asked for the file to be moved, was rejected judiciary in Rome.
