URBINO – An entire community is preparing to give the last hug to Emiliano Pimpanini, the 21-year-old from Canavaccio who lost his life last Saturday (15 June) in a road accident on the straight of via Falasconi di Fermignano. The young man’s funeral will take place on Tuesday 18 June at 3.30 pm in the church of Canavaccio. The funeral chapel will instead be set up at the Torrette regional hospital starting from 8.30 tomorrow.

The dramatic accident it took place around 12.30pm on Saturday 15 June. The young man was traveling on his motorbike when he collided with a Fiat Panda driven by a 40-year-old local man. The crash was so terrible that the young man was thrown several meters away.

On site The Urbino traffic police intervened and, making use of some testimonies and footage from a public operator’s camera, are trying to reconstruct the dynamics of the tragedy and any responsibilities.

Emiliano, a graduate of the ITI Don Orione in Fano, worked at the mechanical company Laser Idea srl, specialized in the production and processing of plastic materials. Many people are mourning him in these hours both in Canavaccio and in Fano where, during his school years, he had forged important and indissoluble bonds both with the teaching staff and with his classmates. He leaves behind his parents, Silvia and Giacomo, managers of the piadineria L’Aquilone in Urbino, his sister Miria, his brother-in-law Lorenzo and his girlfriend Dalila.
