Mori secondary school, over 13 million for the new school complex. The Provincial Council, on the proposal of the councilor for local authorities Giulia Zanotelli, in today’s session confirmed the financing of 10,044,000 euros for the construction of the new lower secondary school “B. Malfatti” of Mori, relating to the “functional unit 1” of the new school building. The contribution, the disbursement of which is the responsibility of Cassa del Trentino, is supplemented by 3,009,000 euros for interventions to mitigate seismic risk.

The preliminary, definitive and executive planning of the work is handled by APOP – Civil Works Service – delegated by the Municipality of Mori. “The path that will lead to the construction of the new school in Mori is starting, we are satisfied because it is an important investment for the future of this community,” said Zanotelli.

After almost 10 years, a series of extensions and complex steps which also saw the expression of the opinion of the Public Investment Analysis and Evaluation Unit (NAVIP) for the verification of the financeability of the work through public-private partnership instruments, the last December the Municipality of Mori approved the executive project, which amounts to 14 million 980 thousand euros and on which the Technical-Administrative Committee of Public Works and Civil Protection has already expressed a favorable opinion. In addition to the Province, the Vallagarina Community will also contribute to the financing with 1.4 million euros from the Strategic Fund and the Municipality of Mori for the remaining part. The reporting deadline for the work in question was set within five years from the date of approval of the measure.
