In an atmosphere full of emotion and emotion, a celebration was held recently which touched the hearts of all those present, who gathered at the “Spartaco Bandinelli” building in Velletri, in the local section of the National Association of State Police (named after Matteo Demenego), to celebrate the Nicola Ladaga’s 100th birthday, the oldest chief inspector in Italy. Having arrived in Velletri way back in 1956, Ladaga dedicated decades of his life to serving the community, becoming a figure of reference and a symbol of dedication and integrity.
The ceremony, presented by the section secretary Mariano Petta, saw the participation of numerous local authorities and prominent figures. Among the guests of honor, the Mayor of Velletri, Ascanio Cascella, and Deputy Mayor Chiara Ercolibrought their greetings and best wishes to the birthday boy on behalf of the entire community.

During the event, Mayor Cascella gave Nicola Ladaga a necklace on Cardinal Borgia, a symbolic gift on behalf of the entire city of Velletri, certainly appreciated by the birthday boy, who has kept his passion for reading intact.
The celebration was enriched by numerous interventions that retraced the long career and life of Nicola Ladaga. Colleagues and friends remembered the years spent together with affection and admiration, underlining the dedication and professionalism that Ladaga has always shown in his work. The words of appreciation and the stories of personal anecdotes created an even more intimate and familiar atmosphere, in memory of what Nicola was able to do for the community and for his family, well represented not only by his children, but also by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren .
