Last May 21st, Antonio Gerace was in a gym in Vigevano when he started feeling ill. Sitting at ringside, he told some of his teammates that he wasn’t feeling well, before losing consciousness and collapsing on the ground. Despite attempts to resuscitate with a defibrillator, the athlete is died shortly after emergency transport to hospital Humanitas of Rozzano.
