Aversa, Sagliocco: “Farinaro’s propaganda accusations on the cemetery”

Aversa (Caserta) – “I am amazed by the statements, out of place and out of context, of the candidate Antonio Farinaro, who in the absence of valid arguments and programs to propose to the citizens, makes an electoral catwalk, complete with posed photographs, in the cemetery of Aversa”. Francesco Sagliocco, outgoing councilor with delegation for the Cemetery and newly elected member of “Noi Aversani”, in support of Matacena Mayor, is not willing to act as a “scapegoat” for the terrible conditions in which the area hosting the deceased finds itself.

The first elected member of the civic list replies to the centre-right leader. “Perhaps candidate Farinaro – continues Sagliocco – forgets that I have no longer held the role of councilor for more than 8 months and that many things were done during the council term. The cemetery, a sacred place, deserves great respect and I am committed, with the director Ruscigno and the team of municipal employees, among a thousand difficulties, to make it decent. Today, unfortunately, it is clear to everyone that the cemetery is in a state of total abandonment, but this must absolutely not become an inappropriate instrument of political opposition for propaganda purposes, among other things, a few days before the vote”.

“I reiterate our commitment. We said it during the election campaign – observes Sagliocco – and we will do it in the first days of the Matacena administration: an extraordinary cleaning and maintenance intervention, which must be the ordinary rule. Together with the mayoral candidate Franco Matacena this will be possible.”
