The June 21ston the occasion of Music Festival 2024a day of international character, which aims to celebrate the summer solstice, theUmbrian Philharmonic Association leads to Massa Martana some excellent young musicians, to celebrate and cheer up the Umbrian village.
At 6.30pm in Rebirth Squarewill perform Michele D’ASCENZO, pianist praised for his “perfect mastery of the keyboard and precise control of the sound” (Paolo Viola, Arcipelago Milano) who in 2022 received the prestigious “Maison des Artistes” International Gold Medal Award in Rome in recognition of his commendable professionalism artistic concert artist. Music by Schumann and Chopin is on the program.
At 9pm in Giordano Bruno Squareit will be the turn ofENSEMBLE OF PERCUSSION INSTRUMENTS of the “F. MORLACCHI of PERUGIAwith Gianluca SAVERI director of young and talented musicians: Davide COSTANTINI, Riccardo MOSTARDA, Gianluigi BARZELLOTTI, Francesco TIBERI, Domenico GRASSO. The idea of forming an ensemble of percussion instruments that could represent the F. Morlacchi Conservatory arose in 2023 by the will of the teachers Massimo Tata and Gianluca Saveri. The objective is to offer students the opportunity to practice the profession through field experiences. Ensemble music represents one of the most complete art forms, it teaches the sharing of emotions, creates energy and empathy, develops confidence and character. The interest of the Morlacchi Ensemble Percussion is aimed at the study and performances of the specific repertoire, from its origins to the present day. For the evening, a program is presented with music by Reich, Gomez, Peck, Rossini, Saveri, Ponchielli, Brodman, Abreu, Sollima.
The event organized by the Umbrian Philharmonic Association is organized with the patronage and support of MIC Ministry of Culture, the Umbria Region, the Piano&Voce Association, the support of the PERUGIA FOUNDATION and the collaboration of the “F. Morlacchi” of Perugia. With this event the first part of the concert season organized by the Umbrian Philharmonic Association will end and then the autumn concerts will resume with the same Association
