The trial regarding the tragic death of Marco Ferrazzano, the young man from Foggia who took his own life at the age of 29 by throwing himself under a train on January 22, 2021, continues. During the last hearing, the police commissioner who conducted the investigations and the doctor who treated Marco at the Sert were heard. A third person, an eyewitness, was not available and will be reconvened in November. In five months, four witnesses will be present in the courtroom, including two eyewitnesses.

According to what emerged, Marco Ferrazzano was the victim of ridicule, humiliation and bullying for a long period. His tormentors would have filmed him and distributed the videos on chats and social pages such as “Comiche Foggiane”, now closed. Other children with frailties would also have been targeted.

Five people are charged in the trial, while a sixth individual has negotiated a one-year prison sentence (suspended sentence) and a fine of 600 euros. The defendants currently on trial are Antonio Bernardo, 27 years old, Antonio Pio Tufo, 24 years old, Francesco Paolo Paoletti, 25 years old, Dario Pio Vacca, 25 years old and Giuseppe Apruzzese, 26 years old.

Among these, the names of Antonio Bernardo, known as “U’ stagnr”, nephew of the boss of the same name killed in 2008, and Antonio Pio Tufo, alias “U’ giall” stand out.also accused of having participated in the robbery of the “Gocce di Caffè” bar during which the owner, Francesco Traiano, was killed.
